I passed by this oval several times when we went through Bagot Road. I didn't know where the entrance was to get into until we found the entrance at Old McMillans Road.

recently received a facelift with the installation of lights around the oval by the City of Darwin. With 30,000 square metres of grass seed via hydro mulching at soccer field, this oval looks greener than ever.

There is also a little playground next to the soccer field. It has sailing shade above and sand on the ground. Some of the play equipment is suitable for big children, such as climbing frames, and swings and a small slippery dip for toddlers. But the thing that caught my eye while we were playing at this playground were the two big mango trees. We will definitely pay a visit during Darwin's mango season!

Plenty of carparking can be found near the entrance, however, you need to walk on the grass to get into the playground.
