Are you tired of basic sandwiches and predictable salads for lunch or that in-between snack? How do bespoke, boutique bagels sound to ease the hunger pains?



Bagels n Banter in Gaythorne serve these round, donut-like rolls which are denser than ordinary bread with a slightly crispy crust and distinctive chewy texture. The Bagels n Banter menu pays homage to the local community by naming its bagels after neighbouring suburbs. There's the Enoggera, Lutwyche, the Ashgrove, Gaythorne, and the Bardon bagels with a range of fillings from $8.00 - $9.50. Each meal comes with your choice of bagel: plain, poppy seed, sourdough n rye or the everything bagel. Sweet and savoury breakfast based bagels (served with toppings such as eggs, bacon, avocado and tomato) are also available. A coffee and bagel special is on offer - unfortunately, they are missing a full range of options for non-coffee drinkers (no chai available here).



The blue and white exterior of the shop is clean and fresh. The shop even has a small white picket fence, open kitchen bar windows and a couple of tables and chairs for outdoor seating.

Bagels n Banter is slightly tucked off the curbside and can be accessed by a convenient ramp. Bagels n Banter is located opposite the Gaythorne Train station and has street parking in side streets.
