Located on Melbourne Street in North Adelaide, Bad Boy Burger Bar serves a wide range of burgers ranging from simple burgers to more hearty ones with fancier fillings. Apart from burgers, they also serve yiros, hotdogs and deep fried seafood. It can fill up quickly during the peak lunch and dinner hours, so it is advisable to arrive early to get a seat.
Appropriately named, The Ring Stinger has a fiery chilli sauce that gives a potent punch to the lamb chilli patty and the various fillings, among them being jalapenos. Although not spicy at first, the spicy hit does not come until you have eaten it so keep this in mind if you not used to spicy food. If you prefer, it can also be made with a beef patty instead.
The grilled chicken fillet in the Chicken Caeser was cooked perfectly and the bacon, shaved Parmesan cheese, egg, lettuce and Caeser sauce complemented it perfectly. I enjoyed the slight creamy taste of it and the Parmesan cheese did not overwhelm the burger with its flavour.
Pork Me has a juicy pork patty that was cooked to perfection and the various ingredients in it complemented it perfectly. All the burgers can be ordered as part of a combo with a serving of fries and a soft drink of your choice. The fries had a crispy exterior and fluffy interior and had the right amount of salt that did not made it too salty. For dessert, you can choose from a good range of ice creams, the cooling sensation providing welcome relief if you have just ate one of the spicy burgers.
