This weekend is the Queen's birthday long weekend - not her actual birthday, but let's not be pedantic when there is a public holiday on offer - Happy Birthday Lizzie! I'm sure Queen Elizabeth would agree there is no better way to celebrate such a stately occasion than with a backyard barbie. But instead of doing all the hard work yourself, why not relax with friends at Moorebank Sports Club, as they host the Backyard Bash.



On Sunday 7th June 2015, Moorebank Sports Club will host the Backyard Bash, a family fun day, running from 11am until 4pm.

You can enjoy live music from the band "Hello Cleveland" from 1pm. There will be backyard games for the kids, face painting and lots more.

Relax and unwind with friends and family while the kids play in the club's "backyard", a paradise for kids. The Sporties backyard includes cubby houses, a sand pit and play gym.



But that's not all, it is also home to rabbits and guinea pigs, chickens and "Peter" the goat.



Your lunch and dinner meals are sorted - grab a sausage sizzle from the BBQ, a meal from the Club Bistro, or a coffee and cake from the Café.

Invite some friends and grab a table outside under one of the pergolas. Or sit inside in the comfortable lounge area.
