Thailand Elephants on parade

Bacchus Thai is one of the select few restaurants operating in the main street area, outside The Village Shopping Centre with an attached alfresco outdoors dining area. Before dining inside the restaurant, I had ordered from Bacchus Thai's menu of available take-away meals, which was very popular on the night I chose to dine in, as a result there was a delay in my main meals being delivered. However the service was adequate and the meals provided were well worth the wait.

For The Entree:
Roti bread with peanut sauce

And For The Main Course:
Pad satay (stir fried chicken with special homemade peanut sauce and vegetables)

A large serve of steamed rice and

Pad gratiam pehd (stir fried duck with garlic, pepper sauce and vegetables).

The restaurant dining area is large in size, albeit decorated heavily with elephants and portraits of Thailand Royalty, and with the various tables available, there are plenty of tables for couples or large group arrangements. Bacchus Thai is open until 9 pm every night (with the exception of Mondays), which makes it a perfect restaurant for late-evening shift-workers (esepcially since you can order meals online through the website) or late evening work functions.

Overall, an excellent dining experience with large filling meals for a reasonable price.
