It started off like any other fun evening; dinner, drinks and good friends. Things ramped up a notch when we decided to indulge in karaoke.

Some of these photos are a little fuzzy due to my phone's camera quality. Sorry!

Bacchus is a Korean karaoke bar located at 128 Grote Street and is arguably one of the best karaoke bars in Adelaide. Why?

Location - being on Grote Street, it's only a short walk from any of the fine restaurants in the Chinatown precinct. No need to hike to Hindley Street (where most are located).

Good value - $25/hour for small-medium room, $35/hour large room. At the moment they have a $100 special where you get a large room for 2 hours and 3 cocktail jugs.

Nice rooms - in a large room you can easily fit up to 20 people and rooms are decked out with high quality karaoke equipment and quality soundproofing.

Massive catalogue of songs - not just Korean but Japanese, Cantonese, Mandarin, Vietnamese, and a huge range of Western songs.

Drinks - Good range of Korean non alcoholic and alcoholic (soju anyone?) drinks at a reasonable price.

Great service.

Bacchus will soon be hosting a big KPop and Soju party on Friday 29th June, 2012. Why not check it out?
