The at Henley Beach is a trendy and fancy beachfront restaurant and bar. Located right on the Esplanade you can expect marvellous views over the St. Vincent Gulf, and this from both the alfresco and the deck area. The menu is inspired by Mediterranean influences with produce from South Australia, in which the Chef trusts. The choice of food should cover all different tastes, from a delicious tapas selection to gourmet pizzas, a variety of healthy salads and seasonal specialities from the board. If you are an oyster lover, you will be pleased about the different types of cold and warm, especially on Thursdays, when you get them at a discounted price. In addition, you will be informed about their monthly wine and cocktail specials on several boards at the wall.



But the is not just a place to eat and drink. On weekends, you can listen to different live music sessions. The entire list of bands who will play in 2012 are noted on their website .



By the way, if you need a digestive stroll after lunch or dinner, the beach at Henley is an ideal place for a short or a long walk.



My personal experience:
We like to visit this place especially at lunch time. After a nice walk at the beach, we take a break on the deck, sip a glass of champagne and choose something from the seasonal specialities. Since we belong to the mid 40's generation, we have no yet experience about the live sessions on weekends, but for younger people it must be real fun for sure.
