Is there anyone out there that is currently expecting or knows of someone expecting a baby within the next few months?

To me it seems everyone is having babies at the moment. It must be contagious - something in the water? Whatever it is I think it's great. Quite obviously I love babies, having had four myself, and now I'm enjoying everyone else's newborn babies.

So when I noticed a baby clearance shop that has just popped up in a recently closed pharmacy for the next few weeks only, I naturally had to have a look to see what bargains they had.

When I was in they didn't have a huge amount of stock but the stock that was there were all great branded baby items at prices well bellow there retail prices. Brands included Phil & Teds, Quinny, Safe n Sound, Huggies, Bebe Care, Fisher Price and many others.

There was a double Phil &Teds Dot pram for $450 which is a great price for Phil & Teds, Quinny Zapp strollers that were $350 are now $175, Baby Rest mattresses were $95, reduced from $150. There were many great value nappy bags, baby rockers, padded baby play mats, furniture and much more.

Talking to the lady in the store about what other stock is coming in, she said that they don't know what they're getting until the stock arrives and containers opened, which is then priced and put on the shelves.

The shop has been open for one week and it will be open for a further three weeks or until stock is gone. Which could be faster? New stock is still arriving so don't despair, but if you want something don't leave it too long, it will be gone.

The store accepts cash only.
