I love writing about eating and travelling and have other things to share on here and on my Facebook.

Went I first went to the Babble Cafe in Prahran it was somewhere to past the time, so I just ordered a hot chocolate. To my delight it turned out to be one of the best hot chocolates I have ever had. It was served in a glass mug and came with a side of two marshmallows. Such a great touch. I knew I had to return when I had the time, to try the enticing muffins.
They have a great range of low fat muffins too. When you order tea it comes in a real tea cup and saucer. Another nice touch. They also have a full menu, I've had the yummiest of chicken crumbettes. It also serves breakfast but haven't had the pleasure of that.
[ADVERT]The Babble has a welcoming atmosphere. Inside is a live fire for cold weather in the evening and outside is a porch that goes around the cafe. It is the kind of place you will find dogs with their owners, school kids after school gets out on a weekday afternoon, or the trendy and sophisticated having a wine in the evening. The staff are welcoming and very attentive of everyone.
Oh did I also mention the great music they play? I must admit hearing the Mama's and Papa's California Dreaming certainly added to the feeling of wanting to return.
I highly recommend you saddle up to the Babble sometime, any time of the day or night for a quick beverage or a that full meal. Bring the family, just yourself, or even your furry companion.
