will take place on 29 March, 2014 from 2.00pm to 10.00pm at Mount Martha on the Mornington Peninsula. It's just 45 minutes from Melbourne.

The first-ever festival got its name from the local Boon Wurrung word meaning water and an Indigenous language group from West Coast South Australia, where Artistic Director, Ben McKeown, hails from. 'Water to water' represents unity, sharing and collaborations.

Promotion of cross-cultural awareness at the festival brings Indigenous and non-Indigenous people together in a vibrant, family-friendly outdoor event where Indigenous music, art, dance and culture will be showcased.

Headlining the live performances will be Archie Roach, Mornington Peninsula musician and artist Nola Lauch, lyrical storyteller Mau Power from the Torres Strait, along with Yirrmal and the Yolngu Boys and many more.

Children's activities include didgeridoo classes, Indigenous arts and crafts, face-painting and 'Kids Own Publishing', where children can make their own books to take home.

A combination of traditional and contemporary food will be available.

At 2.00pm Supreme Court Judge, Justice Kevin Bell, will deliver an address and participate in a Q&A session on constitutional recognition at the Briars Historic Homestead prior to the music program.

This is an all-weather event and will proceed, rain, hail or shine.

Come and celebrate indigenous culture at the inaugural Baany to Warrna Ngargee - Water to Water Festival from 2.00pm to 10.00pm on 29 March.
