B. Lucky & Sons: Arcade & Game Bar

Last week, we attended the exciting launch of a new adult playground in Brisbane's CBD. A super cool secret bar located inside the historic TCB Building, called B. Lucky & Sons.

This is no ordinary bar. It is your next adventure out, your new favourite squad hang, and I predict a ton of date nights happening here.

Unsurprisingly when B. Lucky & Sons opened its doors last week in Fortitude Valley, a great time was had by all. From the outside, it may look like you have just stumbled across 'Nerd Heaven' in form of a swanky pawn shop. I kid you not, my eyes turned heart shaped as I entered through what is actually a gallery of awesome collectables that make up B. Lucky & Sons' Prize Parlour. You see, in actual fact, hidden behind the deep red curtain on the far wall is the entrance to an adult only arcade and a luxury bar!

Gents this arcade has it all, from the newest games to old-school classics. Think, Mario Kart, Space Invaders, In the Groove, NBA Hoops, Walking Dead, Wack n Win and the list goes on. It's the perfect place to find out who throws the hardest Dragon Punch or clearly has the maddest skills (Or as I like to call it, hand/eye coordination)

Ladies, if you are anything like me you see this place for what it really is. An amazing opportunity to take the big boys out to play with their friends while you catch up with the girls at the bar and sip on boozy bubble tea. Am I right? OR I suggest, game on - Mario Kart winner buys the next round? I feel that is fair since my brother discouraged me from all video games. Apparently, you don't need to physically move your entire body to use the controller. Whatever, I still had fun and believe 100% that if I had thought to bring my glasses I would have totally kicked toosh on the NBA hoops.

The way it works is simple; games range from $2–$5. Load your card and rack up the tickets on redemption games. Once you are done, you hit the prize parlour to claim your winnings.

This is the perfect place to organise work or social functions. Visit their website for more information on Party Packages.

The bar has a great selection of classic cocktails, bubble tea and wine. There is also temptation in form of stone-baked pizzas, spring rolls, chips, prawn crackers and I saw on the menu something called a Jammy Codger. Clearly, I need to return ASAP to investigate. Wheels up squad!
