Eat, drink and be merry at Annerley's hidden gem
Annerley used to be famous for its iconic fine dining restaurant of the 80's, The Clansmen on Waldheim Street which served up fancy dinners and hosted weddings, parties and various other events for over 15 years. It closed over 10 years ago, leaving locals and Brisbanites without their favourite restaurant and today it houses a day care centre.
Cue the entrance music for new Annerley hotspot, Azafran Restaurnt on Ekibin Road! Offering a fine dining, modern Australian foodies experience, this little house on Ekibin Road has been serving happy locals for 10 years last month.
Go for breakfast, lunch or dinner and always receive excellent service and delectable food and drink. There is an extensive wine list to choose from and they offer small private rooms for large groups and parties. We had had a fabulous birthday party (or two!) here and are always happy, full and content by the time we roll out the door.
Sarah and Marc are the husband and wife team behind Azafran and together they have made a great name for themselves in Annerley and across the city. Sarah's warm charm and helpful, attentive nature puts all guests at ease in front of house so they can enjoy the beautiful meals which are produced under head-chef Marc in the kitchen.
The menu changes seasonally so you won't be satisfied with just one visit. You'll want to visit regularly to try more from the menu and to sample new meals which are regularly added
Do yourself a favour and make a date to eat at Azafran. You won't be disappointed!
