The third term holidays are rapidly sprinting towards us with a face slapping reminder that all too soon thousands of school children will be hijacking a large chunk of October.

But before you do an apocalyptic style stock pile run to Dan Murphy's, I bring forth good news! The Awesome Festival. Yay!

This really is a wonderful event hosted by the AWESOME ARTS team right here in our very own city. This year promises so many gorgeously unique and magical offerings to entertain and fascinate children young and old. Refreshingly a lot of the festival program is free and the ticketed shows are very reasonably priced with most costing around $15 per child.

So hitch up your artsy fartsy pants and getcha kids some culture.
