Summer is winding down and while there's still time to get out and enjoy the weather, here are four events coming up in Melbourne this Autumn you won't want to miss:

Tweed Ride, Rutherglen - May 16

Put on your best tweed jacket or plaid skirt, bowler hat and grab a vintage bike for the Tweed Ride in Rutherglen.

The cycling event is part of North East Victoria's High Country Harvest, set amongst the wine country.

The 25km ride is cleverly matched with food and vintage fashion and participants readily embrace the theme by stepping out in vintage style.

The Ride is interspersed with three food and wine experiences showcasing the region's produce and kicks off with brunch at the Rutherglen Wine Bottle where riders will be able to take in picturesque. A French-inspired continental brunch matched with sparkling wine varieties will send riders on their way for a day of sightseeing.

Tickets for the ride are $110 per rider inclusive of all meal and wine and the event takes place from 10:30 am until 4pm. Bookings are available through www.highcountryharvest.com.au
Mud Up Day - April 18

If you've ever wanted to give one of those 'Tough Mudder' obstacle races a good Aussie go but didn't want to combat the electric wires and ultra-competitive nature, here's your chance.

Mud Up Day is taking place at Peninsula Obstacle Course on April 18 and the best part is that it's for everyone (kids too!).

No matter if you're an obstacle enthusiast or just want to give it a good muddy try, this event is non-timed so you can have a great day in non-competitive race. And if mud isn't your thing, there'll also be an outdoor market plenty of food trucks, and more.

Mud Up Day will include runs for those who love the obstacles and just want to have a bit of fun as well as 2 dedicated children's runs for those who simply can't pass up a good mud puddle! That's great news for kids 8 years and older as they can team up with their friends, siblings and family to get mucky. Proceeds from the children's runs will benefit TLC Kids, an Australian children's charity which brings a bit of extra (and often much needed) joy to hospitalised children.

The 4.5km obstacle course is located just off Peninsula Link on Tyabb Road in Mornington and is only 45 minutes from the Melbourne CBD.

With 40 obstacles, this Mud Up Day is an exciting way to challenge yourself no matter your age or experience.

The Creators Market - Friday Funday April 24

The Creators Market is back for Friday Funday on the 24th of April from 2pm-9pm.

Following the first Creator's Market last January, this one will take place at Prahran Town Hall in and again offer a variety of handmade items, as well as both pop up food and fashion outlets.

The market event brings together a unique collection of local designers, artisans, craters and much more and supports emerging designers and artists from fashion to food and fine arts.

Visitors are certain to find a little bit of everything and it's easy to get to as it's located right on Chapel Street and the best part is that it's a free event.

Absinthe by Spiegelworld - until 21 May (unless extended)

It's a little bit vaudeville and a lot of fun! Located on Crown casino's rooftop, this Las Vegas show will again be hosted inside the remarkable spiegeltent and is inspired by the European cabarets of the late 19th century when Absinthe was all the rage.

ABSINTHE is boasted as an adult-themed cocktail of circus, burlesque and vaudeville for a 21st century audience, hosted by the outrageous Gazillionaire and his side-kick Penny.

The show is a 90 minute production without intermission. It's recommended for guests over the age of 15 as the production includes adult themes and some nudity.

The Australian tour of ABSINTHE will feature several of the outstanding acts currently featured in the Las Vegas production with some additional new surprises.
