We often see so many confronting images and stories on shows such as 'Today Tonight' or 'A Current Affair' about the unjust things that happen in the world. Often this leaves us feeling guilty that we aren't doing enough.

Awakening 2011 is happening on the 12th November and is a festival style benefit gig aimed to raise awareness about child trafficking.

A great night with entertainment from local and interstate artists including Anna Parton, Joey Hizon, Dear Dearest and Daisey Ella.

With over 200 confirmed guests on Facebook, this is a great opportunity to meet new people, enjoy some great entertainment, and learn about an issue in a relaxed environment.

Awakening costs $15 pre purchased or $20 at the door with profits going towards organisations such as She Rescue and Destiny Rescue.
