On the 8th day of Christmas, the elves from Avocare Community Connect, in conjunction with the Greater Dandenong Council, are inviting families to Harmony Square in Dandenong for the very first . With proceeds being used to assist those in need living within the Dandenong Community, your support will help spread a little extra Christmas cheer.

With a distinctly Christmas feel, there will be plenty of gift ideas, especially for those hard to buy for family members and friends. Market lovers and bargain hunters alike will find themselves in a Christmas wonderland.

But the promises to be an evening the entire family will enjoy with activities, live entertainment and a mouth-watering selection of food. Kids can have their faces painted, enjoy pony rides and have a bounce in the jumping castle, while roving musicians and entertainers such as balloon artists create even more colour and diversion.

Stay for dinner courtesy of any number of food stalls and food trucks, with a Halal Food Stall included in the selection.

The is being held on Thursday 8th December 2016 from 4pm to 9pm at Harmony Square, 225 Lonsdale Street, Dandenong. Harmony Square is located right in the middle of Dandenong, close to the Dandenong station and bus stops.

The Avocare Community Shop, located at 13 Grace Street, Cranbourne is another bargain hunter's paradise. The op-shop is open Monday to Thursday 9.30am to 4pm and Friday 9.30am to 3.30pm. If you're in the area, be sure and check it out.
