The Avoca Beach Twilight Markets is back on the 7th of December for its ninth year with Fixx Events. The twilight edition of these wonderful local markets is the final one of 2024. It marks the start of a warm summer on the Central Coast filled with days of beach, sand, sea and salt for residents and locals alike. This is your final chance in 2024 to come and support our local markets and businesses at the Avoca event, so take your chance to do so, and maybe even pick up some fantastic Christmas presents at the same time.

Avoca Beachside Markets: The Twilight Edition] is known as the multiple award-winning waterfront boutique Christmas market on the Central Coast. It has come to life for nine years on the first Saturday of December at Avoca Lagoon and Heazlett Park. It will be on in conjunction with the Avoca Twilight Festival . This fabulous event heralds the beginning of the festive season and the beginning of summer on the Central Coast. A summer filled with beaches and surf, fish and chips and ice cream, and long days of relaxation.

There will be over 120 stalls, as well as live music, licensed bars, an international food truck zone, carols to get you in the mood for Christmas, and mountains of fresh produce. This all takes place from 4pm until 9pm. This is an evening not to be missed and is a highlight of summer on the Central Coast as the year starts to wind down and head into the flurry of the silly season. This will be a fun, family-friendly night for everyone to enjoy.

Other stalls include bespoke stalls offering fabulous seasonal gifts, lots of yummy food, desserts as well as live music and offerings from the local brewery, Six Strings Brewery. This event has become people’s favourite place to experience a fabulous outdoor Christmas party with everyone you love in an inclusive, safe, accessible and family-friendly environment. Please keep in mind that any licensed areas are 18 plus only. These 18 plus areas will give adults a chance to have fun without encroaching on the space for families, making this a very inclusive event to attend for everyone.

Here’s some advice on how to get to the markets. If you’re driving, parking is at a premium, and you may not want to drive.

To get to the markets without a car, you can:

- Walking along the beach from Hunter Park.
- Leave your car at North Avoca and walk across from the lagoon.
- Carpool.
- Get dropped off.
- Ride a bike.
- Catch an Uber.
- Use public transport – Busways is the local bus service if you’re coming from Sydney or Newcastle.
