Your dog will love you even more if you take him here
There are 2 new enclosed dog parks in Aveley, Ellenbrook! If you are familiar with the area, they are near the show homes at The Vale, not far from the lake with the fountain opposite Aveley Primary School.
There is a small dog and a large dog exercise zone, like there is at Whiteman Park. They are similar sizes to the ones at Whiteman Park too. If you haven't been to Whiteman Park Dog Parks, I will try to explain the size of the new one in Aveley. The big enclosed park is, well big! There is plenty of space for your beloved pet to run around, even for the large breeds. The small enclosure is much smaller than the large one, but still ample for the smaller dogs to have a good run in, play chase and meet new and old friends.
Both zones have agility type equipment, seating and water fountains (for humans and dogs!) There are waste disposal bins and bags in both parks of course.
How cute are these water fountains with the paw print!
There are no rules for what denotes a small dog, but generally a dog under 10kg is classed as small. Just use discretion and be mindful that there are 2 separate areas for a reason, so all dogs can enjoy time off the leash with dogs of similar size to them.
You would do well to take your own pool bags as it seems they are not stocked often enough, also take a water bowl with you, the fountain what cute, is absolutely garbage, and surrounded by mud, very poorly designed. And if you have smaller dogs, keep an eye on them as there are a couple of spots they can get under, top corner and the gate are the noteworthy escape routes.
Aside from that they are a lot of fun and extremely well limed by locals and extra locals, from afar ad Butler I have heard.
