Do you like pipe bands? Then this is the day you will never forget.

Come and join the marching bands while they entertain you all day long. Relax while listening to The NSW Fire and Rescue Band, NSW Rural Fire Service Pipe Band and the Royal Australian Navy Admiral Big Band, National Service Pipe Band, 23 Field Regiment Band (army band now under the NSW University Regiment) and The RAAF 22 City of Sydney Squadron as they allow us to join in their festivities.

Commencing at 8.30am when the ANL Huey Lands, the agenda includes:

9am Displays and Bands
11am ANL Huey takes off for a flyover
12pm Parade through Avalon including pipe bands and community bands
4.30pm Freedom entry into Pittwater Council Ceremony and March
5.30pm Sunset and Lone Piper and Mass Pipe Bands

The Navy Army and Airforce cadets will be marching at Pittwater. Displays from the Defence Force, Cadets, Air League, Rotary, Pittwater Council, Community Services, Sea Scouts, Scottish Clans , Rural Fire Mercie, Fire and Rescue, Marine Rescue, St Johns Ambulance, and ANL Huey Helicopter, the Vietnam Bus, Bands from RSL's like Burwood RSL Pipe and Drums and various School Bands are all here in one place for your entertainment.

The idea behind the Tattoo is create a public view of the community services provided and allow us to have a small insight into the marvellous work that they enthusiastically do on a daily basis. How often are the forces and Community Services all in one place, like this? An annual event and one definitely not to miss. A lot of hard work and endless practising is definitely worthwhile.

For further information please see the Avalon RSL website or phone them on 02 9918 2201.
