Autumn is one of the busiest periods at the Adelaide Showgrounds and this year is no exception with over 18 events, exhibitions and displays, with something guaranteed for almost everyone.



Spirit of Anzac Centenary Experience (8-20 March)

The travelling exhibition Spirit of Anzac Centenary Experience comes to Adelaide and tells the story of Australia's involvement in all wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations since World War One. The Experience follows a chronological timeline using a mix of visuals, artefacts, audio and film to engage visitors.



Pregnancy, Babies and Childrens Expo (1-3 April)

With a wide range of exhibitors, you can see, touch, try and buy the products and services that best suit your needs and get all the advice you need for your pregnancy or young child!

Royal Adelaide Autumn Horse Show (1-3 April)

Horses and ponies of all types, breeds and sizes are on display at this traditional event. From Clydesdales to miniature ponies to Palouse ponies to Australian Stock Horses, they are all there with advice, displays and in some cases pure admiration.



Show Jumping Championships (8-10 April)

Equestrian SA presents the 2016 Show Jumping Championships over 3 full days with juniors and seniors spread throughout each of the classifications and various height categories.

Oz Comic-Con (9-10 April)

Oz Comic-Con brings you up close to the biggest names in comics, anime, mange, sci-fi, fantasy, TV, movies and animation. With daily or full weekend tickets, Oz Comic Con is a great chance to unleash your inner geek for that one special weekend of the year.



Construction Trades and Mining Expo (14 April)

This is the ultimate showcase for tradies with over 80 national leading brand suppliers showcasing and demonstrating the latest and widest range of products and services. Not only an interactive and informative show, but it is also a show where you can get great deals on tools and associated products.

Adelaide Roller Derby (16 April, 7 May, 28 May)

The Adelaide Roller Derby Season Pass hits town again, and in a big way. Promising bigger hits, greater speed and more fun, 2016 is the year for spectators to step out and see what this sport is really all about.



Sunday Mail Home Living Expo (23-25 April)

The Sunday Mail Home Living expo showcases the latest in building, extending, renovation and decorating products, furnishings, home entertainment, landscaping ideas and energy saving products, plus an extensive range of DIY demos & renovation seminars. Admission price includes entry into the Animal Expo and the April Gift & Craft Fair

Animal Expo (23-25 April)

Dr Harry Cooper is back to Adelaide and is offering advice and solutions for all your pet needs. Packed with a large variety of cute, cuddly and unusual animals plus pet supplies and entertainment, it's a great day out for all the family.



April Gift & Craft Fair (23-25 April)

The April Gift & Craft Fair offers hundreds of handmade and unique products for sale that you will not find in stores all at special prices. Admission is free, so come along and grab yourself a bargain.

Camp Gallipoli (24-25 April)

Inspired by the spirit of ANZAC, Camp Gallipoli is a national overnight camp out event which brings together friends, families and communities for a unique night of celebration and commemoration throughout this, the centenary period of The First World War.



Cancer Council Relay for Life (30 April - 1 May)

Relay For Life is a fun overnight experience that raises vital funds for the Cancer Council's research, prevention, information and support services. Relay is a chance to recognise and celebrate local cancer survivors, people living with cancer and their carers, to honour and remember loved ones lost to cancer and to raise money to help save more lives.

Native Plants Sale (30 April - 1 May)

With over 10,000 Australian native plants for sale, this is more than an ordinary plant sale. Guidance on how and where to plant, and how to ensure the maximum growth of your plant is also offered as well as associated advice on landscaping, pH soil testing and plant selection is also available.


Adelaide Sport and Fitness Expo (14-15 May)

Markets (every Saturday and Sunday)

Why not get there are little earlier, and pay a visit to Pratty's Showground Warehouse Market in the Dairy Hall at the Showgrounds every Saturday and Sunday from 10am until 3pm, or perhaps visit the Adelaide Showground Farmers Market from 9am to 1pm on Sundays.
