Kids Bonsai Workshop, Family Walks & Scavenger Hunts
These school holidays, the National Arboretum will be holding a Bonsai Workshop for children aged between 8 - 12 to make their own bonsai to take home. The Workshop includes all materials, the bonsai tree to pot up and a tutorial on how to trim it. Cost $35.

Another program on offer is the Autumn at the Arboretum' Family Forest Walks, where the whole family can appreciate the Autumn colours in a walk through the forests. Learn about how the different trees and animals change as the weather cools down. This walk is suitable for children aged between 4-7 and the path is stroller-friendly. Cost is $10 per child and accompanying adults are free.

There will also be a host of free activities including drop-in craft, colouring in and a scavenger hunt to win a prize! See website for full details.
