On Sunday 24th of March 2018, the spectacular returns to Rouse Hill House & Farm.
All are invited to come down to this historic estate for a fun-filled day and a taste of the country.
Meet some of Greater Sydney's finest artisan producers and be inspired by the food history of Rouse Hill House & Farm as you taste, browse and shop from a handpicked selection of products, including jams and relishes, shrubs and ciders, as well as cured meats, artisan bread, delicious cheeses, fresh produce and more.

In addition to a tantalising celebration of Rouse Hill House & Farm's rich food heritage, guests can meet the producers and discover the story behind the food. All have a strong commitment to producing handcrafted foods, embracing sustainable practices and reviving traditional preparation and preservation methods.
There will also be opportunities to join a range of fascinating talks and live food demonstrations with cheesemaker Kristen Allan, Sean Prendergast from Bilpin Cider, beekeepers Ana and Sven Martin from Amber Drop Honey and Crop Swap Sydney's founder, Laurie Green who will be sharing her tips on creating a zero waste pantry. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own home-grown goodies to exchange at the Crop Swap.Back by popular demand is chicken expert, Dave Ingham, of Rentachook and author of Raising Backyard Chickens - teaching everything you need to know about keeping chickens at home.
Kids entertainment includes butter making classes in the 1888 schoolhouse, gardening workshops at the potting shed, a range of craft activities inspired by items from Sydney Living Museums collection as well as the opportunity to feed the cows at the Windsor Rd paddock.
Guided tours of Rouse Hill House and its fascinating outbuildings and paddocks will run throughout the day. The fee is a gold coin donation. Explore the property and hear the stories that reveal the life of the estate over 160 years.
Take a peek inside the historic convict-built house or discover the property's outbuildings. Or simply bring a picnic rug and enjoy the picturesque setting with a delicious spread from the ready-to-eat food vendors.
