The new Autumn Cocktail Menu at Stoke Bar reflects Brisbane's Autimn days
Strolling past the top end of South Bank, a great way to end your work day is a visit to the Stoke Bar at Stokehouse Q. With the weather cooling, Stoke Bar have introduced a new Autumn Cocktail Menu designed to warm you from the tip of your toes to the ends of your fingers. Big on flavours such as brandy, cloves, vanilla and rosemary, these beautiful new drinks reflect the colours and flavours of our cooler months.
A short walk from the Goodwill Bridge, the breathtaking cross-river views make for a peaceful spot to wind down after a hard days work. CBD commuters can end their day with a stroll across the bridge, admiring the sunset, a warming Apple & Rye: Stars Bulleit rye whisky, Pomme Verte and barrel aged bitters, and then catch the bus or train home from the nearby South Bank Station.

These drinks aren't flashy, you won't find pretty garnishes or whirling parasols. Instead the emphasis has been on flavour, with time spent blending seasonal sweet fruits, blending flavours and working with warm liqueurs. If Gin and Tonic is your favourite, then try the Spanish G&T, inspired by the classic Spanish Version of the drink which is offered with a range of herb and fruit garnishes. The Stoke Bar crew have chosen a premium Fever Tree tonic water and rosemary infused gin, and fresh rosemary for their Autumn combination.
Some of the other wonderful combinations on the new cocktail menu, dubbed the Autumn Eight, are In The Fall, a combination of Stars Pampero blanco rum, blueberry, vanilla and clove; Hello Autumn, made with Stars Bulleit bourbon, Curacao, Lemon, lime, cider and Angostura bitters; Massif Torino, which is a stunning combination of Stars Salers Gentaine Aperitif, Cinzano Bianco and soda. Vodka lovers will enjoy the Poire Royal, a combination of Stars CÎROC Ultra-Premium Vodka, Poire Williams liqueur, biodynamic pear juice and Veuve Clicquot Brut Champagne as well as the Dutch Garden, a blend of Stars Kettle One vodka , elderflower, lime, cucumber and pear. The final offering on the menu is the Gin Fix, a refreshing combination of Stars Tanqueray gin, Chartreuse, lime and pineapple, perfect for our transition into the Autumn months.
