My wife has been very keen of late to update her vehicle, in her opinion her wheels have been looking a bit tired for a while now. Problem is she already has a beautiful car, it has got all the bells and whistles and though it is a 2009 model it still has less than 60,000 km on the clock.

I made a deal with her, if the guys at AutoWorx WA cannot make your car look every little bit like you want it to be, then I would trade her in and get her a shiny new toy.

So we swapped cars for a day and I took her Camry into Autoworx WA shop in Baden Street, Osborne Park leaving it in the safe hands of Lee Tierney. To complete my journey into the office I only had to walk the 300 meters to the Glendalough Station and I was on my way.

Whilst I was at the office, Autoworx shampooed, waxed and polished the exterior of the vehicle, bringing the paint back to a brilliant shine. The alloy wheels got a good going over also and when I saw them I truly thought they were entirely new rims, they were sparkling. I was feeling pretty sure that my wife was going to be enjoying the feel of driving a new car, for a lot less expense than actually trading to a new car.

]In the morning as I made my way to the train station, the thought crossed my mind that the interior of the car would not be too different when I returned, as I believed it was in reasonable condition. Nothing could have been further from the truth, as I found when I climb into a beautifully cleaned space, the vehicle was in showroom condition from bumper to bumper.

Many years ago an old car salesman told me when he was looking for a good detailer, he'd have them clean a car and on completion he would inspect 3 areas often over looked by the detailers. If they passed that test he was happy with their work.

Those three areas are as follows:

1. Behind the door to the fuel cap

2. The panels inside and around the doors and door frames

3. The engine compartment

When I inspected Autoworx's work, all three of these areas were looking like new again. The dirt and grime that had accumulated in these areas had looked terrible. When I saw how clean they are now I was 100% sure I did not have to worry about looking for a new vehicle. My only problem now is how I get my wife to agree to swapping cars a little more often.

Thank you Autoworx you have done a brilliant job and I will be bringing my own car in for a clean in the very near future.

Pricing varies pending on a few things; the size of the vehicle, the age or state of the car and what or how much you want done.

I paid a couple of hundred for full wax, shine and general tidy up. My brother in law Wayne got his Landcruiser GXR done after a big trip through the centre of Australia on red dusty roads. It took Autoworx 2 whole days to complete. Regardless of what he paid, he was so happy with the work - no more signs of red dust in his very expensive pride and joy.

When I think about it, my small investment was always going to be a win win for me, as had my wife still wanted to go for a new car, her Camry was ready to go to market and looking so good, was always going to bring the best trade in price possible.

Autoworx WA is in Baden Street, Osborne Park. No job is too big or small and you're sure to get fantastic job. To book a full detail, wax and shine or just a wash and vacuum contact Lee Tierney on 0422168325 or his manager Josh on 0431326324. You won't regret it.
