The very first Autism Health and Wellbeing expo is being held at the Darebin Arts Centre in Preston, Melbourne on 25 July 2015.

Amanda Curtis is the founder and director of this expo and like many parents, she has done the rounds of countless services and internet research in order to find the best ways to help her son with autism. She has jumped through hoops to access and understand available funding and liaised with his school to ensure strategies are put in place to assist him.

Seeing a real gap in having information on hand and experts readily available to talk about the range of services available for people caring for a loved one with autism, Amanda has put together this expo, the very first of its kind in Melbourne. Its aim is to bring together social, natural and clinical therapy services, as well as community and government organisations so that as much information as possible can be available for those with autism, their carers and educators . People who don't know anything about autism are encouraged to attend so that people diagnosed with autism can be better understood, accepted and celebrated.

Experts will be holding free presentations and will be available to chat about their services and products in areas such as psychology, occupational therapy, speech therapy, natural therapies, fitness and self care, clubs and sporting groups, community, government and adult support organisations.

Exciting entertainment has been arranged for the children with a:
- Mystery Superhero and Princess
- Fun zone room for children under 12 years of age
- Minecraft Competition
- Soccer clinic for 12-18 year olds run by the Kingsbury United Soccer Club, plus much more.

Tours of the expo in other languages will take place at:
10am Chinese; 12pm Polish, French, Spanish and Arabic;
4pm Greek
