Jack is back
Matthew Reilly is coming to Brisbane again. I can't begin to tell you how excited I am. I have read everything he has published including his latest blockbuster (thanks Troy for introducing me to him well, his books if not the writer). His novels keep getting better with each subsequent one as unbelievable as that seems. He has said that is his aim for his readers. No resting on his laurels for this popular writer. No wonder he is an internationally bestselling author with worldwide sales of over 7 million copies, published in over 20 languages.

Matthew Reilly will be speaking about his fantastic new work The Three Secret Cities. I have read it already and love, love, loved it. (Have you noticed yet that I am a die-hard fan?) Don't worry no spoilers here but you know Jack West is going to get into some seriously dangerous situations. Go Jack go - you have only a week to save the world.

Synopsis of The Three Secret Cities
When Jack West Junior, one of "The Five Greatest Warriors" won the Great Games in The Four Legendary Kingdoms, he tossed the kingdoms to hell in a handbasket. And now they are coming after HIM. Jack has to find the three incredible lost cities of legend. This is the fifth novel of seven (a trilogy in seven parts?) of the Jack West novels which began with Seven Ancient Wonders. They are all high octane, rapid-paced, action novels woven with myths, legends and mystical places. Add in unforgettable characters (including cameo appearances from characters out of his other novels) and you have Reilly's winning formula.

About Matthew Reilly

He is the author of the unforgettable Scarecrow novels, including Ice Station, Area 7 and Scarecrow. He has also penned standalone novels (and novellas) including Contest, Temple, The Tournament, Troll Mountain and The Great Zoo of China. He had me at Ice Station. He owns drives a DeLorean DMC-12 (the famous car in the Back to the Future movies). He is a Star Wars fan (who isn't?) and plays golf in his spare time. He has spare time? In my opinion, he should get off the golf course and write more novels for his adoring fans. I can't wait for the next two instalments of the Jack West saga. When I met Matthew at the last book signing, I told him that I'd made the mistake of starting his previous novel on a Sunday. It was such a page turner that I couldn't put it down and read it all night and missed my work the next day! He guffawed and said that he likes his fans to be that dedicated.

Question for my readers:
Do you want me to write a book review of The Three Secret Cities?
