A new interactive experience at the MCG

These school holidays, you can!

The new Australian Sports Museum is home to Australia's most treasured sporting memorabilia, history and artefacts - but it is no ordinary museum! These school holidays, families are invited to explore, discover, play and immerse themselves in the exciting and ever-changing interactive exhibits and experiences.

Here kids won't just stare at statues, they can climb them and you'll find touchscreens instead of do not touch signs!


Highlights include the chance to create your own avatar, step inside Game On and put your skills to the test! Game On is an interactive space to play, and record your own personal best. After your visit, head online to replay your experience!

Plus discover the Australian Football Gallery, including holograms of personal accounts from Tayla Harris and Bachar Houli and the interactive Football Hall of Fame touchscreen, exploring stories from legends of the game.

Step into Australia's greatest sporting stories and unforgettable moments these school holidays at the Australian Sports Museum. Plus, the iconic MCG Tours also return!

Perfect for kids, families, sports lovers and curious, the Australian Sports Museum is located inside of Gate 3 of the MCG and open seven days a week between 10am-5pm (except for AFL match days at the MCG).
