Twice a year, in autumn and spring, the
Australian Native Plants Society SA Region Inc holds its plant sale at the Adelaide Showgrounds.
For the Australian native plant enthusiast, $100 (or even $50) will go a long way - with over 1,000 species on offer from around $5 each.
Click here for the list of species on offer for the spring sale.
Having recently bought my own home which is in need of some landscaping, I'll definitely be heading along to take advantage of the range of natives and expert advice on offer.

One of my favourite species is the range of Australian native hibiscus & hibiscus like species, including Alyogyne huegelii (pictured). Image copyright & courtesy of www.hibiscus.org
There'll be an information desk offering free soil pH testing and recommendations for establishing Australian native plants in various areas of Adelaide. Along with books on Australian gardening and flora at reduced prices, a range of activities will be on offer including workshops on soils, garden design, basic photography, propagation, grafting and children's activities.
