The Australian Plants Society Yarra Yarra Inc is presenting its annual Australian Plants Expo over two fun-filled days this spring!

Come along with the whole family and view and purchase a diverse range of native and indigenous plants and enjoy guest speakers, enlightening demonstrations and stalls offering gardening books and unique giftware.

This special event will take over Eltham Community & Reception Centre on the weekend of 14 and 15 September from 10am to 4pm daily.

Held in a family-friendly atmosphere, the Australian Plants Expo showcases a diverse range of native and indigenous plants. The esteemed plant stallholders in 2019 include Phil Vaughan, La Trobe Wildlife Sanctuary Nursery, Sunvalley Plants nursery, Goldfields Revegetation nursery, and Yarra Yarra member growers.

But the weekend is not just about plant sales! Adding to the vibrant community atmosphere are informative public talks on everything from garden design and propagation to fauna-scaping and hanging baskets.

There will also be a massive display of stunning native flowers to admire. You can also pick up books on a range of related subjects and delightful giftware and decorative garden pots.

There will also be activities for children, door prizes and refreshments available onsite.

All are welcome to Australian Plants Expo 2019. The venue is wheelchair friendly and there is plenty of parking available.

Eltham Station and buses are also located nearby.

The entry fee is $5 for adults, $4 concession and children receive FREE entry.
