For tennis fans, heading to the Australian Open everyday for two weeks could turn out to be a bit pricey, but you can get your tennis fix this summer for free. How? Simply head to the Australian Open Live Site at Federation Square.

Like last year, there will be live coverage of the Australian Open on the Fed Sq Big Screen, plus there will be daily activities and special events.

In the lead up to the anticipated summer sporting event, Federation Square is hosting two tennis themed gaming championships; the Melbourne Vs Perth – Big Screen Tennis Championship and the Fed Square Tennis Competition. This is also a free event, and is part of the current season of Free Fed Square Gaming.

The Australian Open kicks off on January 16, 2012.

Closer to the event date, the daily schedule of Federation Square activities and special events will be available on the Federation Square website.

For all the latest on special events at Federation Square, check out the Facebook profile, located here.
