New to Canberra, I love exploring this city and the secrets that it holds with my family.
Event:
Get there early to bag a bargain for your garden
The Australian Native Plant Society Plant Sale is held twice a year in March and October, in the carpark of the Australian National Botanical Gardens. The next market will be held on 21st October, between 8:30am - 1:30pm or until the plants are sold out. This spring plant sale is particularly popular, so get there early to take your pick from the 600 species for sale. Prices range between approximately $6 - $10 a pot and customers need to bring their own bags or boxes to take the plants home.

See the Australian Native Plants Society website for details and you can also email them for a full listing of plants.
