Each year, the Australasian Native Orchid Society (Victoria branch) holds it Australian Native Orchid Show and it's on again Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 September 2019.



If you love native orchids, then the Mount Waverley Community Centre is the place to be to admire and learn more about these amazing plants.



On display will be the largest collection of Australian orchids, including many rare and endangered species. Many will be available to buy, from seedlings to larger plants and all are reasonably priced.



For novices and those wanting to learn more about caring for and growing orchids, there will be talks and educational sessions showing you everything from planting and propagation to ongoing care of your orchids. You'll also be able to pick up tips and hints on more advanced techniques from the many knowledgeable and passionate members who will be on hand to answer your questions.

At the show, there will also be a display of beautiful artworks and photography that can be purchased. Other merchandise including books and the societies own publications will also be available for sale.



Sit and chat as you enjoy a delicious Devonshire tea and other goodies at The Orchid Café that will be open throughout the weekend.

The cost of entry will be as follows:

Adults: $5.00
Concession Holders: $3.00
Children 16 and under accompanied by an adult: Free

Pop in and be amazed by the diverse and fascinating world of orchids.

The Australasian Native Orchid Society (Victorian Group) Inc. is an organisation of both amateur and professional orchid enthusiasts dedicated to the cultivation, conservation and scientific study of native orchids in the Australasian region.
