Australian Native Ingredients Experience Box
One of the newest things about the Australian culinary scene is in fact one of the oldest. Bush tucker has been a source of nutrition and effective medicine for Australia's Indigenous people for an estimated 70,000 years.
The founder of Melbourne boutique travel and events company, Foodie Trails, Himanshi Munshaw Luhar, has collaborated with one of the
MasterChef's suppliers The Australian Superfood Co to bring renowned food contributors together such as indigenous chef Mark Olive (known as 'The Black Olive' and possibly Australia's most celebrated and renowned Indigenous chefs) and
MasterChef winner, Sashi Cheliah. Working in collaboration, they have come up with the ultimate Australian Native Ingredients Experience.

Australian Native Ingredients Experience Box
Many of us are increasingly aware that our use of indigenous ingredients must benefit indigenous Australians. The Australian Superfood Co has a policy of prioritising native produce sourcing from Indigenous Australians. They work with Indigenous communities who wild harvest produce, as well as with Indigenous and non-indigenous farmers cultivating native fruits, herbs and seeds. The gathering of these ingredients creates seasonal employment for over 1000 Indigenous Australians. To find out more, click here.
