For those that desire to create bonsai that is a bit different from those normally seen, the Australian Native Bonsai masterclass on Sunday 1 November, 2020 at Wittunga Botanic Garden Nursery offers participants the opportunity to create bonsai using Australian native plants.

Run from 10am to 3pm, this masterclass will provide a brief history on bonsai and selection of the plant best suited to your environment. Participants will also be taught the techniques of creating a bonsai and how to ensure it remains healthy. Lunch is provided and participants will be able to take home the bonsai they created.
