You'll be screeching with joy
For a great day out, head to the Melbourne Showgrounds for the Australian Motoring Festival from Thursday 26 to Sunday 29 March 2015. Whether you're a serious car enthusiast or not, there is definitely something here for everyone. From 10am to 8pm each day, the festival offers a large variety of events and activities for everyone. Here's a sneak peak of what's happening.

You can shop for your next new car at the New Car Pavilion and New Vehicle Promenade. Peruse the latest models and learn about new vehicle technologies. And don't forget to try before you buy! Go for a spin on the tarmac and off-road test tracks which will be available to you throughout the festival. You'll be able to get a feel for the vehicle and experience the hottest technology.

As well as cars, there will be a huge range of motorcycles, scooters and e-bikes for you to check out. Test ride the latest e-bike from Dolomiti E-Bikes, Dyson E-bikes, Melbourne Electric Bicycles and Rev E-bikes and experience what they have to offer.

Whatever you do, don't miss out on the Ferrari Exhibition where you can indulge in over 30 years of Ferrari history. If you weren't a Ferrari fan, you will be by the time you've visited this exhibition! Of course, there will be something here for the young Ferrari fanatics with simulators, face painting and kids Ferrari drive experiences. And for something different, but just as exciting, pop by the 'History that Moves' Exhibit. Feast your eyes on a huge range of vehicles and bikes ranging from veteran to vintage, classic to special interest groups and clubs. Have a chat to car owners as you take a look at the 150 wonderful vehicles on display.

For those interested in a career in the automotive industry, head to the Auto Design Centre & Industry Showroom where you'll be able to speak with careers consultants. In addition, you'll be able to watch professional auto designers demonstrate sketching and modeling.

Head to the test tracks because there will definitely be lots happening throughout the festival. As well as giving you the opportunity to test drive vehicles on their two test tracks, one on-road and one off-road, there will also be race team demonstrations, Variety Bash Parades, Classic Car Parades and heaps more!

Those with children will be absolutely thrilled with the fabulous Family Fun Zone & Entertainment. Anticipate fantastic family fun for everyone to enjoy. You can go for a spin on the dodgem cars, hop on the ferris wheel, have your face painted and have a go on the bouncy castle. Crafty kids will love the Transformers Activity Centre and they even have the chance to meet and greet Bumblebee. You can also race your family and friends and test your driving skills on the remote control cars. And if this isn't enough, the Racing Zone Activity Centre will have kids screeching with delight as they become part of the INDY 500. What's more, don't miss out on street bike stunt riding sensation Lukey Luke who is guaranteed to knock your socks off.

And you can also treat yourself to a little retail therapy at Retail Hub. Automotive products, accessories, vehicle services and lifestyle experiences.
