Hmmm I hear you say. Hockey I know. But Inline Hockey?

Well, let me illuminate the non sports mad readers out there.
Inline hockey is a team sport played on hard flooring in which skaters use their sticks to shoot a hard plastic puck into their opponent's net.

Each team has 5 players, four of whom skate up and down the floor trying to take the puck and score a goal against the opposing team. Each team has a goalie who tries to stop the puck from going into the net. It's a fast paced sport and popular in many countries, particularly in Europe and the U.S.

So being an instant enthusiast now, you will be dying to see it up close and live. Especially since the National Championships are coming to Adelaide from 28 September 6 October

Come and watch this sporting phenomenon which is reputedly the fastest growing team sport. Or if you really really can't be bothered getting out of bed that week, live streaming of selected games will be available via the Skate Australia website.
