Get your TICKETS for the Australian Indigenous Astronomy event on Tuesday 18 August 2020 from 7-8pm. It's FREE, but requires registration. This event is in celebration of National Science Week (15-23 Aug) and is suited for all age groups with Q&A at the end of the presentation.

Hosted by Goldfields Libraries and Bendigo Library, meet Kirsten Banks, a proud Wiradjuri woman who is passionate about space and astronomy. Currently doing a PhD in Astrophysics, join her as she shares her passion. Explore Aboriginal constellations with Kirsten, and the differing perspectives of Western and Aboriginal astronomy. Wonder no longer how the Indigenous people of Australia describe the night sky. Check the event page for the link to view live or catch up later.
