Australian Hip Hop Championship

Home > Sydney > Music | Dancing | Competitions | Nightlife
Hip hop as a dance genre possesses limitless potential to wow spectators through exhibitions of creativity and discipline. Entering its 4th year, the annual Australian Hip Hop Championship (AHC) is the event for such potentials to be unleashed. Whether you are old school or new school, aiming to kick off a career or just want to entertain, AHC fills the criteria for a worthwhile weekend outing.

The Sydney stage of the competition will take place at Anzac Parade, University of New South Wales. Being a short distance from the centre of Sydney, AHC, this occasion is great for university students and other spectators alike to socialise in a drug and alcohol free environment; while at the same time being entertained by the tricks and flips of the competitors.

For aspiring and experienced dance crews, there are three divisions to participate in - Opens, Varsity and Junior. All three will test a crew's teamwork, showmanship and creativity. This is the perfect opportunity for one to raise their profile as dancers and grow as a performer.
