The
Australian Heritage Festival is the most diverse celebration of heritage and runs from
18 April to 19 May 2021. There are historic walks, talks, exhibitions, and a host of other events that gives a nod to local heritage throughout the country. For those of you who want to
register your event , registrations are
still open and will close on Monday 12 April 2021.
The Heritage Festival is a time to reconnect with the places and traditions we value and to share them with a broad-ranging audience. The festival-like many other events will look a little different this year and won't include the production of the Victorian Printed Program. This is to ensure flexibility for all event organisers who may require changes to their event details. Please note that for 2021 there are variations in dates for some of the states, to find out the participation of each state please use the '
festival near me' tab. The festival is hosted by the
National Trust of Australia (Victoria) , our state's premier community-based heritage advocacy organisation who believes Australia's heritage matters.
The following are convenient links to events in various states. With the theme
Our Heritage for the Future the festival looks with 20-20 vision at the importance of all facets of heritage. Unfortunately, SA and TAS will not be taking part in the 2021 Festival.
