During this seven-day retreat, His Eminence the 7th Dzogchen Rinpoche, Jigme Losel Wangpo will continue his cycle of teachings in Australia. Attendees at this special retreat have the opportunity to learn and practice Dzogchen, a very practical and relevant method that can improve our quality of life.

Dzogchen Rinpoche is one of the highest lamas in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition and he is the authentic holder of the Dzogchen lineage, which is the oldest and highest lineage within Tibetan Buddhism. It is an authentic, unbroken lineage that has been passed directly from master to student for over 400 years.

With his totally natural, relaxed dignity, Dzogchen Rinpoche is the embodiment of Dzogpachenpo, the fully awakened mind, and his direct teaching style makes the authentic Dzogchen teachings of Tibetan Buddhism very accessible and easy to understand and apply.

The wonderful atmosphere and beautiful natural surroundings of the retreat environment inspire meditation and support the student to gain direct experience of Dzogchen.

The retreat will follow a program that includes daily teachings by Dzogchen Rinpoche, guided meditation sessions and other practices from the Dzogchen lineage, and relaxed and informal discussion groups where attendees have the opportunity to deepen their understanding and share their experiences.
