The best place for film, video games, digital culture and art in Melbourne

Melbourne is home to a top attraction for all things related to the moving image. The Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI) is also the national museum of film, TV, video games, digital culture and art in Australia.

Located in the cultural precinct of Fed Square, this is one venue where you and your family can attend film screenings, festivals, exhibitions, events and workshops. From gaming to video mash-ups, retro to recent, you'll find it all at this place.

ACMI host some of Melbourne's top events and a variety of ticketed and free public activities throughout the calendar year that are significant, unique, memorable and enjoyable for both adults and kids.

Some of these events include films for the Melbourne Spring Fashion Week, discussions on Australian animation, workshops during the Melbourne Writers Festival and the DreamWorks Animation exhibition. It also opened from 7pm till 7am the next day for White Night Melbourne.
