Flying the Aussie flag on 26 January 2019.
On 26 January 2019, Toowoomba hosts their main Australia Day event at Picnic Point under the big Aussie flag.

Free festivities and activities celebrating a diverse society and honouring achievements with awards, this important family day reminds us to be proud of our heritage and our country.

If you want more, the Harvey Norman Centre, Ruthven St, is hosting family fun from 9am - 2pm, with bush poetry, live music, Australian arts and crafts, free rides such as mechanical surfboarding and lots more.

If you're feeling arty, you can take in the latest exhibition at the Toowoomba Regional Art Gallery, The Print Room: Australian Printmaking from the Toowoomba City Collection, 1960 - 1979.

For more information and other regional events.

Please note that Summer Tunes will not be operating in the parks on Australia Day.
