City of Rockingham has something special planned this year to celebrate Australia Day which is on the 26 January 2018.

Australia Day is the anniversary of a historic moment which marks the arrival of British ships and the raising of the British flag in New South Wales. Every year, this day is celebrated with festive fun and fireworks throughout Australia.

Kids can enjoy a range of free activities which include wall climbing, face painting and Australia Day crafts. Parents can enjoy music with dinner by the beach. With a selection of food vendors means there is no need to pack a picnic basket! You can enjoy a cooked meal without having to do the dishes. That is something worth celebrating!

City of Rockingham Australia Day Festival will be held at the Churchill Park on Rockingham Road from 5 pm to 8:30 pm, with fireworks being the apex to the celebration. There is plenty of parking options, however free parking can be found at the Village Green.

If you have been wondering where to see Fireworks for 2018 Australia Day, head down to Churchill Park. City of Rockingham has the rest of the celebration covered.
