Melbourne'll be brimming with partays this Australia Day. Activities galore, plethora to choose from. While many require wads of moolah, luckily not all. Here's one (that coincidentally, will rock your socks off!), which won't break the bank:
This Australia Day, Wyndham City Council will be coughing up. All-out jamboree. For the entire fam', plus even nan. Kids (small, big, teenagery) will be drooling to this
bonza lineup:
Inaugural Aussie treasure hunt
Aboriginal art workshops
Horse & carriage rides
Sure-fire games such as: tug o' war, egg & spoon, thong throwing, plus more!
But the centerpiece, rip-roaring stage. As Melbourne-based 'Deep Creek Road' (nominated for an Oz Artist of the Year award), plus INXS cover band 'Original Sin' shake things up!!
Original Sin are Australia's premier INXS cover band. Tribute show, commemorating the immortalized band's decades of dominance. Tracks such as Never Tear Us Apart, Don't Change, What You Need, Kiss The Dirt, Just Keep Walking, New Sensation, Need You Tonight, Original Sin, I Send A Message & Burn For You, along with a stack of others, Original Sin's electrifying show will have you air-guitaring along.
In terms of
getting there: driving involves a 30-40 min trip up the M1, before veering onto K Road. The Werribee Park Shuttle also runs daily, and departs from the National Gallery of Victoria at 9:30am, and return 3-4pm. Train/bus is also viable (just be wary of public holiday timetables).
