Are These The Wackiest Costumes Ever? Will You Join In?
What better way to celebrate this wonderful land than with a fun,= festive parade - dedicated to all things Australian.

Dress up, bring the kids and join in some of the fun of what it means to be Australian.

At the Melbourne Town Hall, the parade will commence, following down and along Swanston Street, then over Princes Bridge and into Kings Domain

It will be held on Australia Day - 26th January, 2016 and the best part is that it is completely free.

Australians love parades and celebrations and the vibrant Australia Day Parade will bring thousands of people to line Swanston Street.

There will be entertainment, waving of personal flags, cheering for the parade participants and lots of festivities.

Over 100 community and cultural groups will celebrate and come together to join in this amazing annual event.

Here's the details:

AUSTRALIA DAY PARADE

Date - 26/01/2016
Time - 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
The parade will commence at 11am directly after the flag raising ceremony at the Melbourne Town Hall.

If you wish to be present for the flag raising you should arrive well before 11am.
