Be a part of the Australia Day festivities on Sydney Harbour aboard 1874 tall ship James Craig!

Embark at Wharf 7, 58 Pirrama Road, Pyrmont at 10.00am for a 10.30am departure to see the annual events on the harbour; Ferrython, Salute to Australia, Red Beret's parachute display, Tug & Yacht Ballet, amongst other events, and of course the Tall Ships Race, which hopefully James Craig will win!

After the Tall Ships Race, James Craig will head over to the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay at 2.00pm and passengers will disembark here. There will be activities and bands on the wharf, a tug 'o' war between Svitzer tug crew, Port Authority of NSW tug crew and James Craig crew to determine who is the strongest!

Tickets include morning tea of fresh fruit and cake for morning tea, followed by some sandwiches and a delicious brownie for lunch. All of this will be accompanied by tea and coffee, as well as a licensed bar on board for those who prefer something stronger.


Embark: 10.00am at Wharf 7, 58 Pirrama Road, Pyrmont

Departure: 10.30am

Disembark: 2.00pm at the Overseas Passenger Terminal, Circular Quay

Bookings are essential and tickets are priced as follows:


Adults: $130

Concession: $120

SHF Member: $115

Child (8-16 years old): $50

Minimum Age: 8 years old

Guests should arrive at 10.00am and are advised to wear sensible footwear and bring a windproof jacket. Stilettos and sharp-heeled shoes are strictly prohibited. Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the ship.

Overseas Passenger Terminal to Wharf 7 Afternoon Trip

If you're interested in a short trip on James Craig on Australia Day to take you over to Darling Harbour for the evening activities. Sydney Heritage Fleet is also running a 30 minute cruise from the Overseas Passenger Terminal back to Wharf 7 in Pyrmont. Boarding at 4:00pm, the ship will depart at 4:30pm and return back to Wharf 7 at 5:00pm. Prices are $20 per adult, $15 for SHF members and $10 per child (8-16 years old). Small Vessels

The small vessels, 1903 Gentleman's schooner Boomerang, 1902 Steam Tug Waratah & 1902 Steam Launch Lady Hopetoun, will also heading out on the harbour for a 4 hour cruise;

Boarding: 9:30am

Departing: 10:00am

Returning: 2:00pm

Cost: $85 non-member, $75 member (BYO lunch and beverages)
