Fireworks on the beach to close Australia Day in Altona

Altona-Village Traders Association presents the annual Australia Day in Altona this Monday 26th January 2015. The event is into its 8th year and is bigger and better than ever. During this big day, from 11am to 10pm there will be countless entertainment for adults and children.

Altona welcomes everyone to come along and join in the fun, starting the day with off with a Junior Triathlon on Altona Beach. With activities such as children's workshops, facepainters, double decker bus tours, cobb and co coach rides, camel rides on the beach and a sandcastle competition, it's going to be a tremendous. There will also be live music, vintage cars on display, market stalls and even Devonshire Tea in the park.

Altona's Pier Street beach cafes will be open, with outdoor seating in the heart of the fun.

To conclude take a walk along the beach and experience a stunning display of fireworks on Altona beach at 9.30pm.
