The Grove Sports Club also known as the Ferny Grove Bowls, Sports and Community Club has been running its inaugural meat pie eating contest for some time, with many contestants taking this competition seriously as the prize includes a trophy for the winner. To let the folks understand how serious the locals take the meat pie-eating competition registrations are required to be submitted before the day along with a $10 entry fee.
Celebrate Australia Day at The Grove Sports Club
Along with all things Aussie, The Grove will also be hosting free barefoot bowls, thong throwing competition with prizes to be won, live music from 12pm, face painting, raffles and prizes to be won, along with free yard games.
