The National Museum of Australia will be hosting an Australia Day Festival on Saturday, 26th January between 10am - 9pm. The event begins with a Welcome To Country and Indigenous-themed activities including tours of our First Australians gallery and a weaving workshop with Ronnie Jordan (Kalkadoon). After 1pm look out for roaming Romans, Rome-inspired craft activities, large-scale Roman board games, pop-up poets and curator talks, to celebrate their Rome: City and Empire exhibition.
Get ready for the Australia Day fireworks at the Lakeside Amphitheatre with music, games and an Australia Day BBQ between 4pm - 9pm. See the National Museum of Australia website for details.
