Australia Day is fast approaching and if you are still thinking about what to do this year, here are some suggestions:
Australia Day Big Breakfast
Two great venues for Australia Day Big Breakfast
Dee Why Beach, The Strand, Dee Why Berry Reserve, Pittwater Road, Narrabeen
Starting at 7am the day will include a hot breakfast, car and bike show, thong throwing competition, rides, entertainment and flag raising.
A great day is planned at the Warringah Aquatic Centre with Australia Day Pool Party. There will be a water bombing competition, dunking machine, face painting and entertainers. BBQ bacon and egg rolls as well as sausage and egg rolls will be on sale.

Breakfast on the Beach
Starting at 7.30am at Bert Payne Reserve Newport, this Australia Day event will include a BBQ breakfast, kids activities, face painting, live music and a presentation by Australia Day Ambassador, Tracy Bevan who will announce Pittwater Citizen of the Year, Young Citizen of the Year and Sportsperson of the Year.
Australia Day Parade of Sail
Local boat owners assemble at Careel Bay and will sail across Pittwater in a colourful flotilla, arriving in the afternoon at the Royal Motor Yacht Club.
